Wanna talk about Lani in our blog for long time. It's the day to do it!
How Lani became our wedding planner is a little story. It's all about coincidence. Lani n' us both hired the same photographer n' picked the same venue for reception. I'm sure there must be something very common between us.
The first time meeting our photog Ingrid, she told us she would be meeting another bride afterwards whom has her reception the same place as ours. Lani arrived early which allowed us to meet with her. She told us she wanted to be a wedding planner n' asked if she could take our case as a practice to train herself as a wedding planner! That was SO Nice! So we went home n' started emailing n' working with her.
Hadi n' I never thought of hiring any wedding planner. Indeed we had already started planning by ourselves a few months before we met Lani. But this free gift is of course very welcome. In fact, I now think we do need a coordinator cause that really helps especially in researching n' contacting vendors. There will be lots discussion n' negotiation. Tons of back n' forth emails killing you. So I recommend hiring a wedding planner to share your workload.
Lani will be a real n' professional wedding planner after doing her n' our wedding. Anyone looking for help - I highly recommend her. She is very easy to work with. A very nice n' sweet person. She listens to us with patience. But she'll also give her opinion. You don't have to worry cause she's thoughtful n' well organized. I'm sure whoever meets her will like her!
